Kindergarten

1 pack #2 yellow pencils
1 big pink eraser
1 pack of 8 skinny crayons
1 pack of glue sticks
1 Elmer's glue bottle
1 regular 8 pack fat crayola markers
1 black Sharpie permanent marker
Backpack big enough to hold large manila folder

Please do not label supplies with student's name. All of the supplies (except backpack) will be used by our whole classroom community buckets.



1st Grade

Backpack, labeled
Broad tip markers - basic colors
Colored pencils (sharpened)
1 box of crayons (16 is plenty)
3 erasers (Pink Pearl)*
12 glue sticks*
36 sharpened #2 pencils*
Black Composition Notebook
1 box of Clorox/Lysol cleaning wipes (for tables)*
1 box Ziploc bags (any size) *
Box of Kleenex*
1 pencil sharpener (one that collects the shavings)
1 pair child-size scissors (Fiskar)                                                                                                                                         8 1/2 x 11 spriral notebooks (wide-ruled- 120 pages)

2nd Grade

1 backpack or book bag (labeled with name)
3 packages of 24 sharpened #2 pencils
1 two-pocket folder for student papers (labeled with name)
4 glue sticks
8 Pink Pearl erasers
1 set of markers (thin or thick)
1 small pencil box (labeled with name)
Colored pencils
1 pair of Fiskar scissors (labeled with name)
8 1/2 x 11 spiral notebook (70 pages)
1 large box of Kleenex
1 box of crayons (24 maximum)
1 box gallon size Ziploc bags
1 box sandwich size Ziploc bags
2 boxes wet wipes for cleaning and disinfecting
Snack (enough for 24 kids)

No Trapper-Keepers or 3-ring binders.



3rd Grade

2 boxes of #2 pencils (no mechanical allowed for all year)
School box or other container to hold supplies
Box of crayons (16 is plenty)
Metric/standard ruler
2 Pink Pearl erasers
Colored pencils
1 dozen glue sticks (for all year)
100 sheets wide-ruled (not college-ruled) notebook paper (loose leaf)
Metal scissors
Backpack or book bag - labeled
Kleenex
1 yellow highlighter
Three 70-page spiral notebooks (wide-ruled)
Fat or thin watercolor markers (to share)
Pencil-top erasers (1 box)
4 two-pocket folder for student papers (plain, no art)
Liquid glue
Please do not label supplies with student's name. Some supplies will be shared.



4th Grade

2 two-pocket folders
Wide-lined paper - start with 500 sheets
1 two inch, 3-ring binder (LARGE metal rings- no Trapper-Keepers)
4 glue sticks (no liquid glues)
Crayons (medium-size package), colored pencils and marking pens (washable, thin and wide)
3 spiral notebooks, wide-ruled 70 page type
Red pens (not felt)
Blue pens (not felt)
2 black Sharpies
3 dozen (sharpened) standard #2 lead pencils (no mechanical pencils please - these will be sent home)
Scissors (Fiskars or a similar brand work with a pointed end)
Clear metric/standard ruler
Notebook subject dividers
Large box of Kleenex
Highlighters (3 colors)
1 packet of small post-it-notes
2 manual pencil sharpeners (not battery operated)
1 pair of slippers with rubber soles
Watercolor paints
Backpacks are optional, but not needed for class
*Everything but the binders and pocket folders will be part of community supplies. Please do not print name on any community supplies.



5th Grade

3-ring notebook with subject dividers (no Trapper-Keepers)
4 packages of wide-ruled notebook paper
Portable Notebook 3-Hole Puncher (can be inserted into a 3-ring notebook)
Pencils (a good supply)
Several colored pens for correcting
Ruler with inch and metric markings
Set of colored pencils for map and diagram work
Sharp, pointed scissors
Glue
3 or 4 glue sticks
Plastic pencil pouch for inside of the notebook
Scotch tape (optional)
Colored markers or crayons
Kleenex
5 soft notebook folders, 3 hole punched
Baby wipe refills
