S T A T Information
What is the S.T.A.T.?
The Student Teacher Assistance Team is a
group of educators from different areas of expertise who meet every week
(Wednesday mornings before school) throughout the entire school year,to address academic,social, or emotional concerns for
identified students. The team provides remediation
ideas and interventions to best help the
student succeed within the classroom or school
environment. A student can be referred
to the S.TA T by a staff member or parent.
Who serves on the S.T.A.T.?
The S.T.AT is facilitated by the school
counselor and also includes the following staff
members: School Psychologist, Special Education Teacher, Speech-Language Pathologist, Primary Grade Teacher,
Intermediate Grade Teacher and at times the School Principal.
