Volunteer Information

We love volunteers!

Volunteers are an integral part of our educational team at Fall City Elementary. By volunteering, you show our students that the community cares about their success.  The involvement of our community is what sets our school apart.   All volunteers are required to complete a background check, which will be valid for two years.  Your name will then be added to the SVSD Volunteer database so you may volunteer in any school.

Complete the Volunteer Application  and bring it together with your Drivers' License to the office, or email it to Joanna Jimenez.

Also, Have You Considered Substituting?

While volunteers donate their time, SVSD substitutes are also needed and compensated.

In addition to substitute teaching, classified substitutes fill in for a variety of vital school positions. These include helping prepare and serve food during breakfast and lunch, assisting teachers in the classroom, helping with custodial tasks, and providing secretarial coverage in the front office. Substitutes are on-call and enjoy broad flexibility in where and when they wish to work.
