Attendance
Regular, punctual attendance is extremely important for your child’s educational progress, at all ages, and it's required by law. Our school office appreciates receiving a call when your child is going to be tardy or absent.
To report your child’s absence:
Before 9:15 a.m., please call our 24-hour Attendance Line and leave a message. If you make this call, it will not be necessary to write a note after the absence. If the office has not heard from you by 10:15 a.m., parents/guardians will be notified.
Early check out: If you are checking your student out early, please come to the office to sign them out. Always allow extra time for the office to call them out of class.
Tardiness: Any student arriving late to school after 9:15 a.m. is considered tardy. If you are tardy to school in the morning, you must report to the front office to check in with the attendance secretary and sign in. Tardy students must have a pass from the office in order to be admitted to their classrooms. Please help teach your students the importance of punctuality:
-
9:00 a.m. - School doors open and breakfast is served.
-
9:15 a.m. - Bell rings. Students should be in their seats and ready for learning.
