Character Traits

This fall, we are excited to launch our Character Traits program! Throughout the year, we will focus on explicitly teaching students about a positive character trait each month. The goal is to help students build important life skills that contribute to lifelong wellness and success. These traits—ranging from compassion to grit—will be woven into the daily experiences students have at school.

Each month, 3–4 students from every class at each grade level will be recognized for demonstrating the featured character trait. These students will be celebrated and have their pictures taken for showing that trait in their daily actions. Check back on this page throughout the school year as we highlight and explore each new character trait.
